Wales Community Pantry moved to 172 Palmer Road (Route 20) in Brimfield, MA 2025
Twenty Years and Growing!
The Wales Community Pantry increased from a service of 235 individuals in Jan. 2024 to nearly 400 persons a month in 2025. On average, we processed 12,000 pounds of food each month of food. The small space under the Wales Senior Center was home to the pantry for 20 years but we seriously outgrew our location.
Our new facility on Route 20, heading West at the beginning of the north side of the divided highway is at 172 Palmer Road, Brimfield, MA. We have room to unload our van indoors in poor weather even with a forklift, store more food, allow space for our guests to shop, and substantial parking for volunteers and shoppers.
Many local organizations came forth to sponsor our move made back in August of 2025. Sponsors received public thanks via our website, Facebook, Instagram and newspaper press releases and of course during our grand opening / ribbon cutting. Below are the many organizations that provided much needed assistance to make the relocation in 2025 a success. Please consider their services as a way of helping your neighbors.
