Fundraising: Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Neighbors are helping neighbors at the Wales Community Pantry. Our End-of-Year campaign is in full swing, and our community is stepping up as our needs grow. We have had amazing support from local businesses, individuals, and grant funding this year. We are fortunate to be able to meet the needs of our community but the increased need for food for our neighbors requires fundraising to make it all happen. Can you join them?
Over the last year, the distribution has exploded. In the month of October 2024, we served 179 households 13,102 pounds of food.
In October 2025, we saw an increase to 251 households, and we provided 17,563 pounds of food.Our neighborhood volunteers have increased their support with food drives, weekly distributions, and restocking our shelves with food brought by our van from the Food Bank of Western MA, Stop & Shop, Big Y and many other places.
